Matt’s love for entertaining began at an early age. Assisting his mother in the kitchen before large family dinners and holiday parties, he always took great joy in designing and setting the perfect table. Now, years later, with a degree in hospitality management from Washington State University and over 16 years of management experience in hotels, restaurants, and catering, Matt’s passion for creating the perfect event is still with him today. A California native, Matt has recently returned to San Diego after living and working in New York City where he had the opportunity to plan lavish events for clients including Martha Stewart Omni Media, Christies Auction House, Town & Country Magazine and Estee Lauder. His design skills have been recognized with multiple industry awards, and he has been a board member for a chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). Matt’s diverse background and experience in the hospitality industry gives him a unique perspective, combining his professionalism and knowledge of business with his flair for design and passion for entertaining.

Jessica has always had a natural talent for entertaining. Giuseppe Fine Catering unites her experience in wedding planning with her passion for food, love of events and eye for detail. Her career in the event industry began while working as an Account Executive for a highly successful lending firm. After planning weddings for her good friends, she found herself longing to pursue a career involving her passion for food and entertaining. Since joining the event industry, Jessica has flawlessly conducted over 100 weddings, and is always seeking out fresh and fun ideas to make each event unique. Her disarming demeanor along with her impeccable eye for detail immediately sets brides at ease. For years, Jessica has prided herself in bringing each bride’s dream to life. Working closely with her brides, she goes to extra measures to ensure that they are ecstatic about their special day. Jessica is also a board member of the Association of Bridal Consultants’ San Diego Chapter, and in her free time, she enjoys wine tasting, sampling new artisan cheeses, and spending time with her fiancé and cockpoo.
Thor Dahl joined Giuseppe Restaurants and Fine Catering in the spring of 2008, with over 20 years of Food and Beverage experience, including 4 years of Beverage Catering in San Diego County.
From the small college town of Pullman, Washington, he began his love for the fine food industry at age 16, working at his mom’s favorite restaurant, Swilly’s, which is still known for fine, creative dining. Thor moved to San Francisco, California in 1998, where he worked as an Event Promoter and Nightclub Manager at several premier San Francisco nightlife establishments, including the W San Francisco, Ruby Skye and Sno-Drift Nightclub.
Living in San Diego since 2003, he has worked as a Event Manager for some of the finest catering companies in town. Thor met Giuseppe in the spring of 2008 and immediately saw that they shared the same vision of innovative and premium quality food and service. In the fall of 2008 Thor took the role of Beverage Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla for Giuseppe Catering. In addition his current role involves Management, Operations & Sales for Giuseppe Bar Service, including the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park.
Thor graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in the spring of 1998. He is an avid Sailor and has enjoyed competing annually in the San Diego sailing community.

Adam Imhof, born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, moved to San Diego in 2004. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts from the University of Arizona, he made his way to California in hopes of establishing his career in the music and business world. With over 15 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Adam began working with Giuseppe Fine Catering in 2006, and most recently was named General Manager of the “SDMA Sculpture Court Cafè: by Giuseppe” in historic Balboa Park.
Director of Catering Operations, brings to Giuseppe over ten years specialized experience in high end catering and fine dining from his home country of Denmark, the United Kingdom, and the United States. As an Event Manager at England's top catering firm he served gala dinners with over 2,500 guests and at venues such as the London Fashion Awards Gala at Victoria & Albert Museum and the Queen's Annual Christmas party at Windsor Castle. He has dined in over 20 countries on four continents, and is an avid seeker of the perfect dining experience. In his free time, Frederik enjoys life on the water and in his garden, where he and his family explore sustainable farming techniques and the delights of homegrown gastronomy. Frederik has been with Giuseppe for one year.
Ms. Goodman is a native San Diegan who credits her early experience in her Grandmother’s kitchen for setting her foodservice career in motion. As a young girl, Jamie spent most of her time making traditional Jewish foods from scratch and serving dinners to her family. Jamie’s knowledge of food and hospitality also stems from her travels in Europe tasting the cuisines of many cultures.
Jamie received her degree in interior design from Mesa College, and spent several years with Design Decorum based in Del Mar. This allowed her to work in affluent homes of La Jolla, Solana Beach and Del Mar. Her experience helped her realize she had a natural talent for event design with an eye for detail. Upon recognizing this outlet for creative expression in the hospitality industry Jamie added a unique ability, making her event a comfortable environment for guests as they enjoy an extraordinary catering experience.
After 15 years in the food and beverage industry this background and experience makes Jamie an important asset to Giuseppe Fine Catering.
Chef Larry, “Larmo” Gooding has joined the management team at Giuseppe’s Restaurants Fine Catering. With more than 25 years of culinary experience, Larry joins Giuseppe’s as production expert assisting the well-respected company with exquisite delicacies for private parties as well as large corporate affairs.
Chef Larry’s experience includes creating and serving groups as intimate as 10 to as large as 6,000 guests at any one meal. From large convention hotels to exclusive resort/golf resorts, Larmo has also been involved creating menus for the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado (2007), the Winter Olympics Games in Salt Lake City, Utah (2004) and the Taste of the NFL in San Diego, California (2003).
Born and raised in his native San Diego, Larry enjoys the outdoors and spends his free time hiking, golfing and camping.
